Anjelah Johnson was born on May 4, 1982 in San Jose, California. She was raised majorly in her home town and is believed to have Mexican-Native American ancestry. She was raised as a pious Christian. She started cheerleading at a very young age of 8 years and was the member of the non-profit organization Pop Warner cheerleading squad. Johnson was into sports like softball, track and soccer and even loved dance forms like break and hip hop. She started her acting career when in high school and went on to study in De Anza College in Cupertino, California. Johnson graduated from college with speech communications. She started cheerleading for Oakland Raiders since 2002 and later performed at the Super Bowl XXXVII.
