Clint was born and brought up in Emporia in Kansas. As early at the age of 5 years, Clint started racing in the motocross. In the following 8 years, Clint has conquered the motocross with more than 200 wins and championships.

Clint has been racing professionally for around 13 years and his source of income has been entirely from his racing career. He even has his own car dealership business called Clint Bowyer Autoplex. As of 2017, his yearly salary is  $11 Million and net worth of $30 Million. Although he is not listed among richest car driver however his worth is somewhat similar to Dale Jarrett and Danica Patrick.

By 1996 Clint started racing at Thunderhill Speedway as street socks in Mayetta. In the year 2000, he even won the Modified Championship. Following year he again won the modified championship at lakeside Speedway totalling to 18 matches wins and top finishes in 32 other matches. In the year 2002, Clint got to race for NASCAR Weekly Racing series in which he won 12 times and had 32 top finishes making him stand at 2nd position at the standings. The same year, Clint was named to be the NASCAR Weekly racing series Champion in Midwest region.

In the year 2003 while racing for Nashville Superspeedway, ace car owner Richard Childress noticed Clint who came 2nd in the race. After the match was done, Richard called Clint and offered a job but Clint thought it to be a prank and hung the phone. Richard called him again and offered him the job. There was no looking back for Clint.

Clint’s professional racing career started with Subway Fresh 500 held at Phoenix in 2005 and his first race won was in Sylvania 300 in 2007.He did raced for ARCA Remax series, Busch series, Camping World West Series, Xfinity Series, Green Light racing and so on. There were several won and top finishes in his races. This year in 2017, Clint had a good race in Can-Am Duel where he stood second. His current rank stands at 84.

Clint married Lorra in 2014 and they welcomed their first child, a son named Aaron Bowyer in October 2014. In December 2016, the couple was blessed with a baby girl named Presley Elizabeth. Clint is also famous for his philanthropy work. He hosted a Charity golf event in Emporia. Clint has a couple of TV appearances as well in an episode of Duck Dynasty and Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
