Born in a small town in Amreli that comes under Gujarat state, in 1955, Dilip got himself educated in Kolkata as his father was businessman dealing in whole drug there. He procured his commerce bachelor’s degree from the Bhawanipur Education Society College under the then Calcutta University. An outgoing lad, ready to take risks and push himself to limits, he arrived in Mumbai with a mere 10,000 rupees after completing his education. Prior to it, he worked as a drug distributor under his father’s mentorship which laid the foundation of his dream to start his own drug company. This has led him to migrate to Mumbai.
