Fatboy real name is Norman Quentin Cook was born on 1963 in Bromley, England. From quite an early age he became involved with a number of bands and performed as a drummer and lead vocalist in many of them. When he was 18, he got himself into Brighton Polytechnic to pursue a BA in English, politics and sociology. But it was DJing that was his passion, and though he was involved in quite an amateur club DJing, the thriving Brighton club scene provided him a perfect place to follow his passion.
