Harris Faulkner started her career as a freelance writer for LA Weekly charging $50 per article.  She started her television career at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles as an intern before moving to Greenville, North Carolina to work as an anchor- reporter for WNCT-TV. Through the years 1992 to 2000, Faulkner worked at Kansas City’s WDAF-TV as an evening anchor, during which she a victim of harassment and stalking by a former colleague. Harris Faulkner moved on to KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-Saint Paul next, again as an evening anchor. In 2005, Harris Faulkner was signed up as a correspondent for the revival of A Current Affair. Faulkner’s association with the Fox News Channel includes presenting the Fox News Live headline updates during prime time weekdays and covering the breaking news segment between 11 am. and 1p.m. ET.



In 2014, Harris Faulkner was signed as a co-host for Fox News’ show titled Outnumbered. Harris Faulkner has so far won 6 Emmy awards during the course of her journalism career including the 2005 Emmy for Best Newscaster and Best News Special. Apart from being a newscaster, Faulkner also authored a book titled Breaking News: God Has A Plan- An Anchorwoman’s Journey Through Faith in 1999.
