Kimberleigh Marie Zolciak, shortened as Kim, was born on May 19, 1978 in Pensacola, Florida, United States. She belonged to a military family and later moved base to Windsor Locks, Connecticut. She is believed to have Italian-Polish ancestral roots. Zolciak has a younger brother named Michael and was raised as a Roman Catholic. She graduated in 1996 from East Catholic School in Manchester and later studied nursing from University of Connecticut. After her studies, at the age of 21 years, Zolciak moved to her parents’ residence in Atlanta, Georgia.
2008 proved to be a lucrative year for Zolciak as she was chosen to be casted as one of the members for the show Real Housewives of Atlanta.
