Mollie Elizabeth King was born on 4 June, 1987 in Wansworth, London, England to parents Susan Wykes and Stephen King. She is the youngest of the three children. Ellen and Laura Ann are her twin sisters. She attended the Surbiton High School in London and took up skiing lessons in the school skiing team. She bagged a scholarship for skiing through the membership in British Children’s Ski Team. King even entered the race for British Alpine squad but fate took a different turn. She changed course of her career from skiing to music although being a straight A student. She excelled in academics in spite of being diagnosed for Dyslexia.
