Teutul was born on October 2, 1974 and is currently aged 42 years. He was born and brought up in Orange County and attended school in his hometown. He has three other siblings, two brothers Daniel and Michael and a sister Cristine who works as a nurse. His mothers name is Paula Teutul who is the first wife of his father.
In school he was in active involvement with the Board of Co-operative Educational Services where he took special classes on metalworking to improve his skills on the same. His father Mr. Paul Teutul Sr. owned a business in steel by the name Orange “County Ironworks” which was a railing shop. From a young age of 12 years, Teutul started working in his father’s firm on a part time basis. After graduating he started working full time and became the head of the railing department. Teutul’s father noticed his interest in motor cycle building and started Orange County Choppers in 1999.
In 2002, Discovery Network approached the Teutuls to follow their extraordinary lives on television. They started with the show American Chopper which gained popularity within a short period of time. After being in the limelight for around 7 years, Teutul was dismissed from the show due to some disagreement. After reconciliation he rejoined but on an on and off appearances.
