Jermaine Eric Shute, popularly known as Starlito was born on 1984. He was born in Nashville. Starlito is of African American ethnicity. He is tall with a height of 6 feet 3 inches.

Starlito studied in Tennessee State University. He was a basketball champion in his college life. At the same time, he was passionate about music. It was at this time that he released his first ever song in the mix-tape version. The title of this song is ‘It Ain’t A Game No More”.
