McCartney was born in Lambeth, a small town in London, England in September and is now 44 years old. Her father was the former singer of Beatles and her mother was an American photographer. She has three other siblings, two brothers and one sister. The entire family got the opportunity to travel the world for shows. Despite of the popularity, McCartney’s parents wanted their children to grow up in a normal way and sent them to the Bexhill College. Stella was a constant victim of bullying and she eventually became a bully herself. As a child, Stella took interest in designing and graduated form from Central Saint Martins in 1995 with a degree in fashion designing.

McCartney’s graduating final collection was modeled for free by her celebrity friends which gained considerable attention and was sold to a fashion boutique in Tokyo. She bagged an internship with designer Christian Lacroix and also simultaneously worked with her father’s tailor, taking valuable insights about garment construction. Chloe signed her as a fashion director in 1997 in Paris. McCartney in collaboration with Gucci group introduced her brand Kering which has gained popularity all across the world. She launched her designer perfume range in 2003 named Stella as well as cosmetic line CARE. Again in 2008 she launched a lingerie line and two years later a kids clothing line. McCartney is a vegetarian and never used fur or leather in any of her collections so far. She is an ardent supported and contributor to PETA and believes in animal rights firmly. MacCartney got married to Alasdhair Wills, a Britisher and a publisher by profession in 2003 and has four children, two daughters and two sons, between them. She currently works as the creative director for the footwear company Hunters.
