She initiated her acting career with her role in the Filipino television series Careful with My Heart’, (2012–2014) when she was only fourteen years old. As ‘Be Careful with My Heart’ tv show went on to become one of the most successful dramas aired by the ABS-CBN, Janella Salvador won a number of awards, such as the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television and the FAMAS Award. She also subsequently became the face of Palmolive hair care and Olay. In January 2015, she bagged the lead role in ABS-CBN’s Oh My G! as Sophie, following which she had her debut as a film actor in the 2015 movie Haunted Mansion. She was also cast in the 2016 musical drama Born For You.
