Kris got his big break in 2011, when he was screened and approved to be in the reality TV series “Sons of Guns” to be aired on the Discovery Channel featuring the Red Jacket Firearms LLC, based in Baton Rouge, Louisana. Owing to his previous association with the business, his appearance and his association with the Hayden family he landed the role of shop apprentice and worked as the production manager on the show. This was his rise to stardom, as the show was fairly popular and was renewed for five seasons.
