Mellie is the daughter of Lottie Mae Stanley, who is a wanted con-artist. Lottie’s mother raised Mellie, however when she was just a teenager Mellie started to live with her mother, Lottie, and even participated in some of her scams. Just before turning 17, Mellie married her first husband Danny Cooper, but both of them got a divorce within 6 months of the marriage.
