Will Power started his racing career in 1999 when he was only 18 years. At the time of his premier race, he drove Swift AC92F and also their racing car Chevrolet. William is well groomed and perpetuates his life style from the very beginning of his career. He leads a routine life and does a hard workout session including exercise six times a week – weightlifting, swimming, cycling, rowing and other fitness regimens.

The journey of William in the racing career as champion began in his country Australia participating in Formula Ford in Queensland State championship in 2000 and subsequently a runner-up national competition in 2001. Power added a feather to his cap by winning Formula Holden Championship and achieved the second position in the Australian F3 series in the year 2002. He also participated in the most distinguished competition Bathurst 1000 event in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. In 2003 Power moved to Europe and joined in different series for three seasons. Power came to the USA in 2006 and took challenges in the Champ Car World Series and won rookie-of-the-year honors with team Australia. He bagged his first career Indy car win in Las Vegas in 2007. No one except Power has been more victorious in Verizon Indy Car Series competition over the last eight years. Power’s 26 conquest and 39 pole awards are the most enviable record of supremacy in his bag. As a full-time participant, Aussies picked up five wins in 2010 along with a series-best eight poles and captured second-place finish in points.

During the journey of his career in 2012 and 2013, Power achieved nine Verizon P1 Pole Awards and six wins. In 2014 he won first series championship and 13th IndyCar title for his Team Penske.
